Hillel Global Giving Week

#YouHadMeAtHillel is all about CONNECTIONS!

Today is an opportunity to kvell about many of the ways Purdue Hillel has connected with the Jewish community at Purdue this academic year, and how we plan to grow those connections as we expand our professional staff this summer!

During this annual fundraising week,

all gifts made to Purdue Hillel between

Monday, May 9 - Friday, May 13

will be triple-matched, dollar-for-dollar,

up to $5,000 dollars, by generous matches

from individual donors and Hillel International.

“When I began my undergraduate career at Tulane University, I knew Hillel would be a place where I spent my time. What I didn’t know was that it would become such a driving force in my life. Under the guidance of their staff, I watched my programming visions come to life around me. From Shabbat dinners to crochet circles, I was able to directly affect what Jewish life looked like on my campus. As I began looking toward my future in the Jewish community, I discovered the Hillel Springboard Fellowship. Being able to support students and bring their ideas for Jewish life into being is a dream come true. I am so excited to join the Purdue Hillel team as their Springboard Innovation Fellow. I cannot wait to see what we all create together. Purdue, #YouHadMeAtHillel!"

What motivates you to work hard?

I work the hardest when I get to be creative. There’s nothing like seeing your ideas come into being.
Where do you see yourself in five years?

I hope to be studying to be an ordained rabbi at HUC-JIR.
What is your favorite family holiday tradition?

Acting out the 10 Plagues on Pesach. Everyone in my family gets a homemade puppet, and we each get a turn to act out our plague.
What are your five core values?

Passion, Courage, Belonging, Creativity, Kindness
What brings you joy?

My friends and family whenever I am with them, and I also feel a sense of joy whenever I walk into Hillel. I know that when I am there, I will thrive.
